Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Cane) Offense: 3000 Block of 14th Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Cane) offense that occurred on Friday, May 10, 2019, in the 3000 block of 14^th Street, Northwest.

At approximately 10:10 pm, the suspect and victim were engaged in a verbal dispute at the listed location. The suspect then assaulted the victim with a cane. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

On Friday, May 10, 2019, 54 year-old Pedro Artola, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Cane).
