Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Bottle) offense that occurred on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, in the 2100 block of Queens Chapel Road, Northeast.
At approximately 12:41 pm, the suspect and the victim were involved in a physical altercation inside of an establishment at the listed location. During the altercation, the suspect grabbed a glass bottle and struck the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Tuesday, July 2, 2019, 33 year-old Ryan Lowe, of Upper Marlboro, MD, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Bottle).
