Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, May 27, 2019, in the 600 block of 13th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 7:48 pm, members of the Second District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Friday, November 1, 2019, 25 year-old Jermaine Franklin Dukes, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
