The Metropolitan Police Department announces a woman has been arrested for retail theft in Northwest.
On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at approximately 3:15 p.m., the suspect entered a business in the 1000 block of F Street, Northwest. The suspect took items of clothing into a dressing room and used a device to remove the security tags from the clothing. The suspect concealed the items and left the business. The suspect was located nearby and arrested by responding officers
As a result of the detectives’ investigation and the circumstances of the offense, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, 45-year-old Latia Gundy, of Southeast, DC, was charged with Burglary Two and Theft Two.
