The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in locating a wanted suspect.
The suspect has been identified as 34 year-old Wonell A. Jones, Jr, of Southeast, DC. He is currently wanted on a DC Superior Court arrest warrant for Unlawful Entry. Jones can be seen in the photo below:
Jones is also a person of interest in the homicide of 33 year old Audora Williams that occurred on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, inside of a residence in the 2900 block of Knox Place, Southeast.
Jones should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information should call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by sending a text message to 50411.
