Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a vehicle in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, February 11, 2023, in the 2200 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast.
At approximately 1:24 pm, Seventh District officers responded to the listed location for the report of the sound of gunshots. Upon arrival, members located evidence of a shooting but no victim. Moments later, MPD was notified of a walk-in shooting victim located at a local hospital. The victim is an adult male and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspects’ vehicle, described as a 2022 Toyota Corolla, with a MD tag of 7FC0220, was captured by nearby surveillance cameras and can be seen in the photos below:
