Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a vehicle of interest in reference to an Assault with Intent to Kill (Gun) and an Armed Robbery offense that occurred on Thursday, April 1, 2021, in the 3100 block of Erie Street, Southeast.
At approximately 5:11 pm, the suspect approached the victims at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the victims’ property. The victim’s complied. The suspect then shot one of the victims and fled the scene. The injured victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
