Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle of interest in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, in the 3000 block of Stanton Road, Southeast.
At approximately 6:26 am, the suspect approached the victim, who was in a vehicle, at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and shot the victim. The suspect then fled the scene in the vehicle. The victim sought treatment at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
