Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle of interest sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, April 21, 2019, in the 2300 block of Hartford Street, Southeast.
At approximately 6:21 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services arrived on the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
A nearby surveillance camera captured a vehicle of interest in this case. The vehicle is described as a silver, four door sedan. The vehicle has damage to the driver’s side rear bumper. A photo of the vehicle can be seen below and in this video: https://youtu.be/RWj9h6Ma4m8
