*Updated with Video* Suspect Sought in a Robbery (Force and Violence) Offense: 1600 Block of Benning Road, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Monday, April 1, 2019, in the 1600 block of Benning Road, Northeast.

 

At approximately 6:15 am, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect entered an employee area. The suspect assaulted an employee, took US currency, then fled the scene afterwards.
