Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Attempted Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, December 22, 2019, in the 700 block of Florida Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 1:27 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect demanded the victim’s cell phone while displaying a firearm. The victim refused. The suspect attempted to take the cell phone from the victim. The victim was able to flee the scene. No property was obtained by the suspect.
