Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District announce an arrest has been made and seek the public’s assistance in identifying an additional suspect in reference to an Armed Carjacking (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, April 27, 2020, in the Unit block of Forrester Street, Southwest.
At approximately 2:30 pm, two suspects approached the victim as he sat in his vehicle at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s vehicle. The victim complied. The suspects then fled scene in the vehicle.
On Wednesday, April 29, 2020, a 17-year-old juvenile male of Southeast, DC was arrested and charged with Armed Carjacking (Gun).

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
