*Updated with Additional Offense and Video* Suspect Sought in Armed Robbery (Gun) of an Establishments and an Armed Cajacking Offenses in the Sixth District

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to Armed Robbery (Gun) of an Establishments and an Armed Carjacking (Gun) offense that occurred on Thursday, June 4, 2020, and Friday, June 5, 2020, in the Sixth District.

 

  • Armed Robbery (Gun) of an Establishment: At approximately 4:47 pm, the suspect entered an establishment in the 4800 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue, Northeast. Once inside, the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded property. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene. CCN: 20-083-052

 

  • Armed Robbery (Gun) of an Establishment: At approximately 11:05 pm, the suspect entered an establishment in the 4000 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast. Once inside, the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded US currency from the register. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene. CCN: 20-083-197

 

  • Armed Carjacking (Gun): At approximately 2:15 pm, the suspect approached the victim in the 4200 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast. The suspect brandished a firearm and demanded the keys to the victim’s vehicle. The victim complied and the suspect fled in the vehicle. CCN: 20-083-456

Anyone who can identify this individual or who has knowledge of these incidents should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
