TRAFFIC ADVISORY: ACLU100 Experience

The Metropolitan Police Department and the Department of Transportation would like to inform the public of street closures in conjunction with the ACLU100 Experience on Friday, May 17, 2019 through Sunday, May 19, 2019.

 

 

The following streets will be posted as Emergency No Parking from Thursday, May 16, 2019, at approximately 8:00 pm until Monday, May 20, 2019 at approximately 6:00 am:

  • 700 block F Street, Northwest (entire block)
  • 800 block F Street, Northwest (entire block)
  • 500 block 8th Street, Northwest (entire block)

The following streets will be closed on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at approximately 8:00 pm until Monday, May 20, 2019 at approximately 6:00 am:

 

  • 700 block F Street, Northwest (entire block)
  • 800 block F Street, Northwest (entire block)
  • 500 block 8th Street, Northwest (entire block)

 

Streets will reopen to traffic on Monday, May 20, 2019 at approximately 6:00 am.

 

The public should expect parking restrictions and should be guided by the posted emergency no parking signage. All vehicles that are parked along the route and in violation of the emergency no parking signs will be ticked and towed.

 

Motorists traveling in the area of this event may experience delays and should consider alternative routes, if possible. The Metropolitan Police Department and the DC Department of Transportation would like to remind motorists to pay full attention whenever operating any motor vehicle and to be mindful of heavy pedestrian traffic that may be associated with special events. These street closings are subject to change without notice based upon unanticipated events and prevailing conditions.
