Suspects Sought in an Assault with Intent to Rob while Armed (Knife) Offense: 1100 Block of South Capitol Street, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's First District seek the public’s assistance in locating two suspects in reference to an Assault with Intent to Rob offense that occurred on Thursday, May 16, 2019, in the 1100 block of South Capitol Street, Southeast.

 

At approximately 7:01 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and demanded his property. One of the suspects brandished a knife and attempted to stab the victim. The suspect was unsuccessful and both suspects then fled the scene.
