Suspects Arrested in Armed Robbery (Gun) Offenses in the First and Third Districts

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's First and Third Districts announce arrests have been made and additional suspects are sought in reference to Armed Robbery (Gun) offenses that occurred in the First and Third Districts.

In each of the below offenses, the suspects approached the victim(s) at the listed location. The suspects brandished a handgun and took the victim(s)’ property. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.

First District

  • On Thursday, July 13th, 2023, at approximately 10:37 pm in the 1000 block of F Street, Northwest CCN: 23-113-554

Third District

  • On Friday, July 14th, 2023, at approximately 12:40 am in the 1600 block of Lamont Street, Northwest CCN: 23-113-577
  • On Friday, July 14th, 2023, at approximately 12:48 pm in the 1500 block of Fuller Street, Northwest CCN: 23-113-580
  • On Friday, July 14th, 2023, at approximately 12:58 am in the 3100 block of 11th Street Northwest CCN: 23-113-581
  • On Friday, July 14th, 2023, at approximately 2:45 am in the 1700 block of 1st Street Northwest CCN: 23-113-638
  • On Friday, July 14th, 2023, at approximately 4:00 am in the 2400 block of 18th Street Northwest CCN: 23-113-698

On Friday, July 14th, 2023, 18-year-old Rasheme Holmes, of Southeast, DC was arrested and charged with the above offenses, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Receiving Stolen Property. Additionally, 18-year-old Trinity Nash of Southeast, DC and 18-year-old Javon Avents of Northeast, DC were also arrested and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Receiving Stolen Property.

These cases remain under investigation. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
