Suspects and Vehicle Sought in a Theft One (Stolen Auto) and Assault with Intent to Commit Robbery (Gun) Offenses in the Fifth and Sixth Districts

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division seeks the public’s assistance in locating and identifying suspects and a vehicle in reference to a Theft One (Stolen Auto) and an Assault with Intent to Commit Robbery (Gun) offenses that occurred in the Fifth and Sixth Districts.

Fifth District:

On Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at approximately 11:30 pm, in the 900 block of 7th Street, Northeast, the suspect entered an unattended vehicle at the listed location. The suspect drove a short distance and stopped while a second suspect entered the vehicle. The suspects then fled the scene. CCN: 20-082-122

Sixth District:

On Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at approximately 2:50 am, in the 1800 block of 23rd Street, Southeast, two suspects approached DC Fire Department employees at the listed location. The suspects brandished handguns and demanded equipment from a DC Fire Department vehicle. The suspects then fled the scene, without obtaining any property, in the vehicle stolen in the above offense. CCN: 20-082-195

The suspects’ vehicle can be seen in the photos below. The vehicle is described as a 2008 Blue GMC Acadia with MD license plate tag 867M748.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
