Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying suspects and a vehicle in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, in the Unit block of M Street, Northwest.
At approximately 12:19 am, a suspect, in a vehicle, discharged a firearm at the victims at the listed location. Separate suspects produced firearms and returned fire. All of the suspects then fled the scene. One adult male was struck by the gunfire and was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a shooting committed in the District of Columbia.
