Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, September 9, 2019, in the 3400 block of A Street, Southeast.
At approximately 7:22 pm, the suspects and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and fired a shot, striking the victim. The suspects then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in locating 19 year-old Sincere Howard, of Northeast, DC. Howard is currently wanted on DC Superior Court arrest warrant for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun). Howard can be seen in the photo below and should be considered armed and dangerous:
