Suspect Wanted in an Armed Robbery of an Establishment Offense: 3000 Block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to an Armed Robbery of an Establishment offense that occurred on Thursday, November 14, 2019, in the 3000 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.

At approximately 1:04 am, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect assaulted a store employee then brandished a stick and demanded property. The suspect took property then fled the scene.

The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in locating 44 year-old Darnell Cornelius Adams. Adams is currently wanted for an Armed Robbery of an Establishment in reference to this offense. Adams can be seen in the photo below:

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime, including armed robbery, committed in the District of Columbia.
