Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Unarmed Bank Robbery offense which occurred on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, in the 2000 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Southeast.
At approximately 11:14 am, the suspect entered the bank. Once inside, he approached the teller and passed a note demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect fled the scene with US currency.

The Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, DC is currently offering a reward up to $5,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for each bank robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
