Suspect Sought in Two Burglary Offenses in the Third District

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to two Burglary offenses that occurred in the Third District.

  • On Monday, December 10, 2018, at approximately 1:40 pm, the suspect entered an unoccupied residence in the 2200 block of 19th Street, Northwest.  Once inside, the suspect took property and fled the scene.  Burglary Two CCN: 18-210-222
  • On Sunday, January 6, 2019, at approximately 12:00 pm, two suspects entered an occupied residence in the 1700 block of Lanier Place, Northwest.  Once inside, the suspects took property and fled the scene.  Burglary One CCN: 19-003-497

One of the suspects, identified as 27-year-old Travis Tito Brandon, is currently wanted on a DC Superior Court arrest warrant in reference to these cases. Brandon is described as a black male, medium complexion, approximately 6’4” tall, approximately 200 pounds, with a tattoo of a spider on his left forearm.  He can be seen in the photos below:
