Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in reference to a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, in the 1800 block of Benning Road, Northeast.
At approximately 4:50 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect snatched US currency from the victim then fled the scene.
The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below and in this video:
