Suspect Sought in a Robbery (Force and Violence) Offense: 400 Block of Butternut Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fourth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Monday, June 15, 2020, in the 400 block of Butternut Street, Northwest.

 

At approximately 1:00 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim and forcibly took the victim’s property.  The victim was able to get the property back and the suspect then fled the scene. 

 

The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photo below:
