Suspect Sought in a Robbery (Fear) Offense: 5600 Block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Carjacking Task Force seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to a Robbery (Fear) offense that occurred on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, in the 5600 Block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.

 

At approximately 1:55 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect threatened the victim and told the victim he had a handgun.  The suspect took property from the victim then fled the scene.

 

 The suspect was captured by surveillance cameras and can be seen in the photos below:
