Suspect Sought in a Multiple Attempted Bank Robbery Offenses

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to multiple Attempted Bank Robbery offense that occurred at the following locations:

 

  • Wells Fargo Bank: On Thursday, December 20, 2018, at approximately 3:07 pm, in the 1300 block of I Street, Northwest, the suspect passed a note to the teller demanding US currency. The suspect fled the scene without obtaining anything. 18-215-801.

 

  • Eagle Bank: On Thursday, December 20, 2018, at approximately 3:18 pm, in the 1400 block of K Street, Northwest, the suspect passed a note to the teller demanding US currency. The suspect fled the scene without obtaining anything. 18-215-820.

Anyone who can identify this individual or has information regarding this case should call law enforcement at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information can be submitted through the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, DC is currently offering a reward up to $5,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a bank robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
