- from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sexual Assault Unit seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in reference to First Degree Sexual Abuse while Armed (Knife) offense that occurred on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, in the 1100 block of 2nd Street, Southeast.
At approximately 4:30 am, the suspect approached the victim with a knife, in the hallway of a residential building, at the listed location. The suspect engaged in an unwanted forced sexual act with the victim then fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 60 years old, and approximately 5’7” in height. He was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt, gray sweatpants and black ski mask.
