Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Monday, January 13, 2020, in the 1900 block of K Street, Northwest.
At approximately 7:44 pm, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. A store employee confronted the suspect about concealing merchandise. The suspect assaulted the victim with an object then fled the scene. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and refused medical treatment.
