Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, December 9, 2019, in the Unit Block of H Street, Northwest.
At approximately 5:25 pm, the victim and suspect were involved in a dispute at the listed location. During the dispute, the suspect brandished a knife and attempted to assault the victim. The suspect then fled the scene.
The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photo below:
