Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, January 1, 2021, in the 500 block of 12th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 6:53 am, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location and took merchandise. As the suspect left the establishment, an employee confronted the suspect. The suspect brandished a knife and attempted to stab the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
