Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Thursday, March 14, 2019, in the 300 block of 37th Place, Southeast.
At approximately 10:55 am, the suspect approached the victim inside of an apartment building, at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and threatened the victim. The suspect then fled the scene.
The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photo below:
