Suspect Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 2600 Block of 15th Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, in the 2600 block of 15th Street, Northwest.

                                                    

At approximately 2:50 pm, the victim confronted the suspect, at the listed location, in an effort to retrieve stolen property. The victim and suspect engaged in a physical altercation. During the altercation, the suspect stabbed the victim. The suspect then fled the location. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
