Suspect Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 1300 Block of North Capitol Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, January 7, 2019, in the 1300 block of North Capitol Street, Northwest.

 

At approximately 9:20 pm, the suspect and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation. The suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim then fled the scene. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
