Suspect Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 900 Block of 17th Street, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, March 10, 2019, in the 900 block of 17th Street, Northeast.

 

At approximately 11:58 am, the victim and the suspect were engaged in a verbal dispute, inside of an establishment, at the listed location. During the dispute, the suspect brandished a handgun and threatened to shoot the victim. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle.

The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below:
