Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, October 7, 2019, in the 4500 block of Benning Road, Southeast.
At approximately 3:52 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect shot at the victim and then fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below:
