Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, February 23, 2019, in the 3300 block of Dubois Place, Southeast.
At approximately 12:16 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male and an adult female, both suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS arrived on the scene and transported the victims to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a shooting committed in the District of Columbia.
