Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District seek the public’s assistance identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, June 5, 2021, in the 1800 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 2:40 am, members of the Second District responded to the listed location for the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, members located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
