Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, in the 1500 block of New York Avenue, Northeast.
At approximately 5:04 pm, the suspect was inside an establishment at the listed location. An employee confronted the suspect about unpaid merchandise. The suspect brandished a handgun and then fled the scene.
