Suspect Sought in an Armed Carjacking (Gun) Offense: 4600 Block of Livingston Road, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Armed Carjacking (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, May 9, 2020, in the 4600 block of Livingston Road, Southeast.

At approximately 2:46 pm, three suspects met the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s vehicle. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene in the vehicle. A short time later, members of the Seventh District located the stolen vehicle and apprehended two of the suspects. A handgun was recovered.

On Saturday, May 9, 2020, a 20 year-old male, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Carjacking (Gun). Additionally, a 16 year-old male, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged as an adult with Armed Carjacking (Gun).

Anyone who can identify this individual or has knowledge of these incidents should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
