Suspect Sought After Stealing Dogs in Robbery

The Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District is seeking three suspects who took three French Bulldogs in a robbery.

On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the victim was walking the dogs in the 5200 block of East Capitol Street, Southeast. Three suspect approached the victim, brandished firearms, and robbed the victim of his dogs.

The French Bulldogs are described as: “Chewy,” a female with brown fur who is approximately 18 pounds; “Coco,” a female with white fur who is approximately 30 pounds; and “Buttercup,” a female with brown fur and spots, who is approximately 25 pounds. They are pictured below.

Anyone who can identify this suspect and/or this vehicle, or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
