Suspect and Vehicle Sought in Multiple BB Gun Offenses in the Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Districts

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Districts seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect and vehicle in reference to multiple BB Gun offenses at the following locations:

 

Fifth District:

 

  • On Sunday, June 9, 2019, at approximately 10:00 pm, in the 2600 block of Benning Road, Northeast, two victims were in their vehicles at the listed location. Unknown suspects approached the victims and brandished an imitation pistol. The suspects then shot at the victims’ vehicle causing damage consistent with projectiles from a BB gun. Sixth District:

 

  • On Sunday, June 9, 2019, at approximately 8:21 pm, in the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast, the victim was walking at the listed location. The victim heard a window break and realized he was struck by an unknown object. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries consistent with projectiles from a BB gun and refused medical treatment. CCN: 19-100-593

 

  • On Sunday, June 9, 2019, at approximately 8:33 pm, in the 100 block of 35th Street, Southeast, the victim was seated in a vehicle. The victim was approached by the suspect vehicle. The suspect brandished a BB gun. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. CCN: 19-100-605

 

  • On Sunday, June 9, 2019, at approximately 8:46 pm, the victim was standing in the 4800 block of Benning Road, Southeast. The victim was approached by a suspect in a vehicle at the listed location. The suspect brandished a BB gun and shot towards the victim. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. CCN: 19-100-625

 

  • On Sunday, June 9, 2019, at approximately 9:00 pm, the victim was standing in the 2800 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast. The suspect vehicle approached the victim. The suspect brandished a BB gun and fired towards the victim. The suspect fled the scene in the vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Seventh District:

 

  • On Sunday, June 9, 2019, between 2:30 pm and 9:48pm, a marked police cruiser was parked in the 2400 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast. The driver’s side window of the vehicle was destroyed. CCN: 19-100-640

 

  • On Sunday, June 9, 2019, at approximately 9:05 pm, the victim was in the 1300 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast. The suspect approached the victim and shot the victim with a BB gun. The suspect fled the scene. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. CCN: 19-100-621

 

  • On Sunday, June 9, 2019, at approximately 9:10 pm, in the 2400 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast, the victim was sitting at a bus stop at the listed location. The victim heard a loud noise and felt pain on his body. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries consistent with being shot with a BB gun.   • On Sunday, June 9, 2019, at approximately 9:38 pm, the victim was driving in the 1900 block of 14th Street, Southeast. The victim’s window was destroyed by an unknown suspect firing a BB gun. CCN: 19-100-611
