Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect and locating a vehicle in reference to an Armed Carjacking (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, January 7, 2019, in the 3000 block of Bladensburg Road, Northeast.
At approximately 3:20 pm, the victims were sitting in a vehicle at the listed location. The suspect entered the vehicle and brandished a handgun. The victims exited the vehicle. The suspect then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The victim’s vehicle is described as a white 1998 Mercedes Benz ML320 with South Carolina tags.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
