Suspect and a Vehicle of Interest Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 4600 Block of South Capitol Street, Southwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect and a vehicle of interest in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, June 29, 2020, in the 4600 block of South Capitol Street, Southwest.

 

At approximately 9:39 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to an area hospital for the report of a shooting victim. Upon arrival, officers made contact with an adult male victim, conscious and breathing, suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim stated the incident occurred at the listed location.

 

The suspect and a vehicle of interest were captured by nearby surveillance cameras and can be seen in the photos below:

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
