Persons of Interest Sought in a 2015 Homicide: 400 Block of E Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating three persons of interest in connection with the homicide that occurred on Monday, July 27, 2015, in the 400 block of E Street, Northwest.

 

At approximately 3:05 pm, a member of the First District was flagged down at the listed location and alerted to a stabbing victim alongside a nearby building. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from apparent stab wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. After all life-saving efforts failed, the victim was pronounced dead.

 

The decedent has been identified as 31-year-old Antonio Austin, of Capitol Heights, MD.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
