Persons and Vehicle of Interest Sought in a Homicide: 4300 Block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating four persons and a vehicle of interest in reference to a homicide that occurred on Sunday, February 24, 2019, in the 4300 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest.

 

At approximately 1:24 am, members of the Fourth District responded to the listed location for the report of an assault.  Upon arrival, officers learned a shooting had taken place. Two victims were seeking treatment at a local hospital for life threatening gunshot wounds. After all life-saving efforts failed, one of the victims was pronounced dead.

 

The decedent has been identified as 30-year-old David Elijah Brandon, of Burtonsville, MD.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
