MPD Seeks Suspects in Unarmed Carjacking

The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying suspects in an unarmed carjacking in Northwest.

On July 8, 2024, at approximately 9:47 p.m., the suspects approached the victim after parking his moped, in the 3800 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest. The suspects demanded the victim’s keys and bag. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene with the victim’s moped.

Anyone who can identify these suspects or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
