MPD Seeks a Suspect in Northwest Misdemeanor Sexual Abuse

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in a Misdemeanor Sexual Abuse offense that occurred in Northwest.

On Sunday, August 18, 2024, at approximately 12:40 a.m., the suspect made unwanted sexual contact with the victim, who was walking along a sidewalk in the 2600 block of Woodley Place, northwest. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was uninjured.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his 30’s, and possibly 5’8 in height. He was last seen wearing jeans.
