The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying three suspects who assaulted and then robbed a victim in Northwest.
On Monday, August 10, 2026, at approximately 9:40 p.m., First District officers responded to a robbery in the 700 block of 7th Street, Northwest. Three suspects approached the adult male victim. One suspect placed the victim in a chokehold while another suspect brandished a knife and demanded the victim’s property. When the victim refused, the suspects assaulted him, stole his belongings, and fled on foot.
The suspects were captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
