MPD Searching for Stolen Dog

The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the community’s assistance in locating a stolen dog that was taken in Northeast.

On Sunday, January 12, 2025, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the dog wandered off in the 200 block of 26th Street, Northeast. The suspect took the dog and then fled the scene.

The dog, “Kodi”, is described as a Goldendoodle that is missing part of its left paw and has a split left ear. It was last seen wearing a gray reflector vest and a Christmas bow tie. Kodi is pictured below:

Anyone who has seen Kodi or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
