MPD Searching for Southeast Burglary Suspect

The Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a suspect in a burglary offense which occurred in Southeast D.C.

On Thursday, September 19th, 2024, and approximately 12:00am, officers from the Sixth District responded to the 3700 block of Ely Place, Southeast, for the report of a burglary. Upon arrival, officers discovered that an unknown suspect entered private property, cut locks to multiple trailers, and stole a large assortment of tools and supplies.

The suspect and his vehicle were captured on surveillance camera footage and can be seen in the photos and video below:

Anyone who can identify this suspect and/or this vehicle, or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
